A good day. A busy day. A rewarding day. A day to be grateful for.

It started way too early - about 5am. I think the birds woke me about 4am, and that was it.

By mid morning I was paddling on the beach in Gullane. That led to lunch outside at Archerfield.

I had to get back to my desk after that. More time spent on that risk assessment. The venue's risk assessment indicates that participants might not wear the right clothes for the weather, get their shoes muddy, and make a claim... Oh well. I hadn't thought of that one. I'm glad they're on the ball.

Having spoiled myself with a lavish lunch out, it was a picnic at the harbour in the evening. In other words a cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps.

Anyway, it meant I got Blip.

I had the Beach Boys on the car's sound system this morning. I think I like this cover better than their version.
