All wrapped up

An annual tradition is for a group of friends (Music Group, Grand Prix nuts, others) to meet in town on Christmas Eve for a get-together and an exchange of presents. This is the bagful of gifts which came along with me (mostly jokey, inexpensive stuff). We had the usual good time, after which it proved quite difficult to find anywhere that was open for a bite to eat. Eventually, McCormack's of Mounttown proved ready and willing to fill the gap with a quite satisfactory bit of pub grub.
