Open Studios

On another glorious hot and sunny day, G and I went on a photo afternoon that we found through the Open Studios brochure. It was based at the home / studio of local photographer Karen Wortley in Salthouse, which is only 4 miles away. 

We were part of a group of about ten and who went out for two photo sessions - one in the village around by the church and the other out through the reeds to the beach - nicely broken up with a drink and cake in between. To give us a challenge and help us think out the box, we chose a topic at random - mine being 'light with a bit of dark' and my best shot for that is an extra alongside the wonderful view from the churchyard. Can anyone help with the name of the flower in my main shot? 

As always, it was very nice to chat to fellow photographers and explore a new place and with cake it was just like a blipmeet!!!  And thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday
