Hottest Day Yet

It was scorching today, and Buttermere sizzled in the heat. It was a relief to climb Red Pike and walk the High Stile ridge above the lake where the breeze was refreshingly perfect. Here is Fleetwith Pike (left) and a little part of Haystacks (right) at 5pm. Not a cloud in the sky.
