Tranquility

Hot sunshine, blue skies, absence of wind. Days like these in the Lake District are as rare as hen's teeth. I tried to find some breeze on the summit of Grasmoor at 852m (2,795ft) but, when I did, it reminded me of a hairdryer on a low setting. My circular walk ended along this beautiful lakeside trail beneath shady oak trees. I love their bright green foliage at his time of year, before they turn darker green in high summer.
