Autumn's Subtle Appearance

According to the calendar, Autumn is just a week away. According to several trees in our neighborhood, it is here already.

We've thoroughly enjoyed summer, but since about August 1, it has been plenty hot here. We have used the air-conditioner almost everyday; rarely is that our habit during summer. Usually we have two or three heat waves during a summer and on those we run the AC. This summer it's simply been six weeks of high temperatures and many more days than usual of humidity.

So autumn looks more attractive than ever. It has always been a favorite season of ours, but this year I think it will be even more so because we're tired of the heat that just sucks all of our energy.
