I got up and re baked the brownies that Selena decided to make after their little gathering, they needed quite a lot longer in the oven but surprisingly were fine after another 35 minutes. I suppose souffles are sometimes twice baked.While they were cooking I did the washing and bought Dad's newspaper. Then on to Dad's and he seemed a bit brighter today, but still is very chesty. Did the usual chores there, then went to Lin's so that we could go together to visit Jeanie. She happily sat outside on the roof terrace and enjoyed the warmth of the sun.
I went back to Lin's for a cup of tea, walked home in the warm drizzle, then realized we had no bread so went to the Co op. Home and made a big pasta and garlic bread thingy for dinner. With the brownie and ice cream for pudding, then The Durrells.
