An early bird

A Heron flew past when I was waiting at the stop for my first bus to work early this morning ( I have to take two buses to get there) and landed on the opposite bank. I managed to take a few photos before the bus arrived and thought this was the best of them.

Today was another hot day with temperatures close to 30°C today. Definitely not the most pleasant weather to be starting a cold like I am. I'm hoping for a nice and much-needed lie in on my day off tomorrow but expect to wake up earlier out of habit.
