Monday: Bowen Island

I had a day off today so we began by heading to 'Sophie's Cosmic Café' for a diner breakfast.  From there, we drove to Horseshoe Bay where we parked the car before getting the ferry over to Bowen Island as foot passengers.

It takes about 25 minutes - it's a wonderfully scenic journey with the boat docking in the delightfully named 'Snug Cove'.  From there, we went for a beautiful walk, first to Bridal Veil Falls and then on to Killarney Lake.  We stopped for some refreshment at the local pub and had a great hour or so sitting on the deck, admiring the view.

All in all, it's been a pretty perfect day.
