Field of Fungi

And before anyone asks, I am positive they are not edible.  In this country you need a PhD in mycology plus at least 25 years field experience before you can positively ID a fungi.  And even then there's every chance you'll get it wrong.

Seriously, very very few of our fungi can be eaten if you want to live.

Nevertheless they do make quite a stunning picture after rain, when they spring up as thickly as this.
