Knocking the Stuffing out of a Sofa

Someone obviously wanted a comfier seat in the Meadows other than a hard park bench, and has left this sofa behind for others to enjoy.
Unfortunately either before or after its arrival it has had the stuffing knocked out of it. Apparently the bin men who every morning meticulously pick up all the detritus left behind by the social pariahs who picnic on the grass, have baulked at trying to fit this monstrosity into a bin and have left it to the big boys to deal with.
Deal with it they must, because the Meadows Festival is taking place this weekend, and a disintegrating settee has no place beside the music stage or amongst the stalls.

Last year I vowed I would leave for the duration of the next Meadows Festival with its live music blaring out over the estate for two days, but we have run out of holidays and will have to thole it. It feels a little like being an unwilling participant at a rock festival- a T in the Meadows replacement for the cancellation of T in the Park.
