We Never Could have come this far
After a busy day at work, himself and I headed up to the Allotment for a wee wander.
It was lovely, there was no one there, just birds singing, and doggies barking, and moles digging humungous holes, and rabbits jumping in the sunset.
We wandered round and looked at everyone's giant veggies, and stuff, and contemplated that we might be running slightly behind. Although, my flowers are looking lovely, the rhubarb is coming back brilliantly, and the potatoes are doing grand. As are the beans. It'll be all good.
After, we had a wee wander through the woods. It was lovely. Completely different from the last night I cycled through them - only a month ago - the rhododendrons are spilling over onto the paths. The trees are so lush with growth only a little light gets through.
By the time we had finished our wee walk... it was 9 pm.
Evening all gone.
But that is fine.
At least we didn't sit in front of the telly.
