Busy day gluing bits of wood and wondering about waterproofing.

Lids for the compost bins. A good lid can be the difference to a winters compost being all crumbly and lovely and a slimy mess.

But how to stop your wood rotting?

My original idea was to produce things which were actually like bits of shed roof, over engineered and heavy.

I'm vacillating. Light and unprotected and they won't last for 4 seasons.
