The Cat & The Fisherman

Normal sunny weather has returned to the paradise island of Crete. In contrast to yesterdays stressful car ride up a sheer cliff, we decided on a local walk to Hersonissos Harbour and then up into Old Hersonissos Village.

The blip extra is one I like of a young boy fishing at the harbour with his mum.......it really sums up what crete life is all about.

The main blip picture was taken in a back street in the lovely village of Old Hersonissos where I disturbed a cat on chair outside a house; such a typical greek scene.

We got back to the hotel mid afternoon to spend the afternoon at the hotel pool, afterwards enjoying a salad on our balcony before heading out for a beer to keep the greek economy afloat.
