A red umbrella

This is the glacier which hangs over Chamonix in France where we are staying. We were hoping to take the ski lifts and do some balcony walks but they are all shut as it is between seasons. We did a long walk along the valley, not all flat. We were watching the paragliders who were making good use of the thermals today. We had several loud claps of thunder this afternoon but none of the promised rain materialised which was great.
