Cross In The Sky!

We went for a walk with our friends to Hersonissos Harbour and then spent a couple of hours around our hotel pool enjoying the sunshine.

This evening we took them to Limnes near Neapolis (Crete) which is a cretan village somewhat off the tourist track. We'd stopped there after a walk at a taverna and was amazed at the quantity and quality for the price. We were not disappointed tonight and after a good meal spent an hour chatting to a lovely young greek couple sat on the next table who ran a tourist shop in Agios Nicolaos around the lake/harbour.

On the way over the bridge to the New National Road, in Neapolis, we saw this cross in the sky. The mountain so dark it just stood out and looked amazing. I stopped the car and took a photo which has caught a couple of stars near it. They love their churches here and religion.
