Brian's retirement

Dollar Gala is on this Saturday and the guest of honour this year is our local butcher, Brian Devlin who has just announced his retirement after 40 years selling quality meat and veg to the grateful residents of Dollar.  Brian is one of those local characters who EVERYBODY knows and he is always at the heart of dollar charity events and community activities.  Brian's steak pies are legendary and his burgers have sustained many generations of football players, duck racers and tug of war teams.  This pic is the tribute to him in the window of our local flower shop.  Have a long and happy retirement Brian!
