Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park

Today we went with a couple of friends for a visit to the Himalayan Gardens at Grewelthorpe near Ripon. We also had a wonderful al-fresco  picnic amongst the magnificent rhododendrons and sculptures.

Today's photo is a shot of a sculpture of two figures dancing in the middle of the 'sunrise lake'.

We have only recently discovered this place, but it really is worth a visit.

The park is in a privately owned 20 acre woodland garden and estate.
They were first opened to the public in 2005 and are currently opened for a few weeks in spring and in autumn.

Today's extra is a view across the sunrise lake (there are three lakes) towards the house.
