City life on the river

Today we went over to Leeds for lunch and a little shopping. Down by the River Aire things have been smartened up considerably in recent years with the building of riverside houses and apartments.
Further upstream from here the Leeds-Liverpool canal joins the river.

The tall building on the left of the photograph is known as K2 and is the 9th tallest building in Leeds. The lower floors house commercial premises and the upper floors are swanky apartments.
