First Of The Year

No cello practice and no last minute homework, but we were still struggling to get out the door this morning as BB struggled to get himself organised for school.  It was potted sports today.  I came home and went for a five mile run and then did a few chores.  I had to see a few people at school so headed back down at pick up time, but couldn’t really remember what time school finishes, so I was running at the last minute again!

The afternoon really brightened up, just in time for BB’s last Friday football training session.  S and I went for a short walk and came back and sat in the sunshine while we waited on the boys.

We had a quiet evening of a few chores, a nice tea and a very welcome gin and tonic.

Here is TT’s first home-grown strawberry of the year straight from the garden.  BB devoured it!
