The rain is coming ...

The drought has been severe, our dams are at under 20% and level 4 water restrictions just been implemented. I've found I rather enjoy washing in a bucket, only washing dishes once a day and wearing the same clothes over and over again.  The storm has been building over the day, and the excitement tangible. Let's hope it rains heavily in the catchment areas and doesn't cause too much flooding to those in make-shift houses.   First fire of the winter tonight.
C turned 19 today. It been a rough few weeks for my precious child. Grief left her so vulnerable that she developed reactivated glandular fever with temperatures of over 39 degrees, and is also on massive doses of antibiotics as there is a fear that a spider bite a few weeks ago has let to infection around her prosthesis. 
C went to visit Moet's breeder this afternoon, and was able to hug and talk to his siblings.  It seemed to help as she returned looking better than I've seen her for days.
