Painted
Another of the migrants: the Painted Lady. I saw a few over in Silverdale earlier in the week, but this was my first of the year on home territory - specifically the training track used by the race horses of Harvey Smith's stable at the far side of Baildon Moor. This one is looking quite worn and faded after a long journey.
Butterfly highlight of the day came in the form of a couple of Walls - I don't see them very often on and around the moor, less than once a year since I first recorded them in 2011, but often enough to suggest that there is a viable population out there.
Also: a couple of Green-veined White, and in the moth department: Brown Silver-line and Silver-ground Carpet.
