The Paddock

Today I went to the Derby at Epsom Racecourse (as a guest). It has been a beautiful sunny day, a bit too hot. I came out on top on the basis that I didn't put any money on! If I had bet on my chosen horses then I would have lost! We had a super picnic lunch prepared by my friend Lesley and watched the races from seats in the Duchess Stand. We also strolled down to the Paddock and admired some fabulous looking horses and some equally interesting people!

Looking up I noticed a plane vapour trail with a helicopter crossing. See my extra photo for the day
