On our way home...

So, we left NC this Am ( after stopping at Duck Donuts -if you ever get a chance the S'mores donut was sinful) and had decided to get to Chadds Ford tonight and go to Longwood Gardens tomorrow , then go home. We were passing this field in Maryland's Eastern Shore area when I saw what I thought were turkeys at first.As the car whipped by I realized they were some kind of ibis. My caring husband found a place to turn around and we went back to discover a field full of about 100 or so glossy ibis happily poking around in the soggy field having lunch.Like: wow! a new bird!
