Comma

Another pleasant beginning of autumn day. I noticed two Commas [Polygonia c-album] on the doomed pear tree. Perhaps it isn't such a good idea to fell it. The trouble is also that it's close to a wall. I'm pretty sure it's a 'Comma' thanks to Blip. I understand that they aren't rare and they hibernate over winter. In any case I was pleased to be able to identify it and get a few shots.

The van returned to me this morning having been refixed.
D. returns tomorrow, over-nighting in Augustow. Meanwhile a little cleaning round here.
