Woodpecker

Letting the dogs out this moist morning, I spotted him on one of the smaller plum trees. He wasn't even scared off by the dogs.

Not exactly a good day in Poland today. The trade union Solidarity is again instigating uprising, but against democracy this time. Apparently it isn't good enough; still it seems like a remarkable change for the one time heroes of democracy. Perhaps a bit of rain will cool them down. We went for a walk to the forest with the dogs, but it didn't stop Muttley biting Pushkin.
