The early bird catches the worm
Lots going on in the garden again today. After all the rain the worms made easy pickings for the robins, blackbirds and thurshes. The wren caught a huge green caterpillar which it flew off with. Baby blue tits have arrived but not from our boxes, I can see the baby ones peeping out though so it should nt be long now.
We took Richard in to Inverness and then went to Tescos shopping to fill up the cupboards that are bare. I also needed a few treats for Brownies on Tuesday. We bought a meal deal and went down to Alturlie to eat it. Great clouds over the Black Isle and a few drops of rain but nice and sunny and warm too.
We had heavy downpours later in the afternoon and the sun was shining which made the rain look like glitter falling from the sky.
We watched the benefit concert from Manchester which felt soo emotional especially with the terrible situation in London last night too. It was great to see so many people united together , having a wonderful time. There are so many good people out there, so many pulling together and doing good work and caring for each other.
