Kittiwake colony

The forecast storm is due here soon and has caused our photo workshop in the Farne Islands to be cancelled tomorrow.   It's a shame as I bought the voucher for Jane as a Christmas present.

We had a good day today though.  We got the bus to Craster then walked the 7 or so miles back to Beadnell along the coast path.  On the way we called in at Dunstanburgh castle (see Jane's Blip) which is remarkable for the large breeding colony of Kittiwakes.  We also saw some Razorbills (see extra)

Not sure what we are going to do now.  Tomorrow looks so bad I think we may be best moving on.
