Traffic

We are now in Bourg St Maurice in the Tarantaise valley in the Alps.   We have driven through here loads of times in the past as it is a major junction between the ski resorts of Les Arcs,  Val D'Isere / Tignes and La Rosiere.

Tomorrow our plan is to drive over the Petite St Bernard Pass into Italy.  We hadn't really given a thought whether the passes would be open and clear of snow but luckily it actually opened yesterday amid much celebration apparently.

I think they have put a lot of effort into clearing the road because the Tour de France is coming through here in a months time.
