Book group

I'm so glad there was nothing major needing doing today as I felt rough with the lurgy.

Luckily it has been a miserable wet day so I didn't mind being indoors working on my Blurb Orkney book. What a lot of photos to look through in order to pick not necessarily the best ones, but the ones that give a flavour of our trip.

I realised I'd not taken a blip today so this is Marian's choice for our book group. I have 6 days to read it - I ordered it ages ago from Amazon and it has not come - now I see it is coming from USA. Another group member has loaned me hers as she can't attend. It is quite a dense book - small print, long paragraphs - a 1955 edition, translated from French, though I think Marian read hers in French. This is what I find interesting about our group - some people make unusual and interesting choices, whereas another goes for airport reads. Poles apart, so a great way to expand horizons.
