A wet Goose Eye

On a wet, grey, wet Monday, the colour version of this shot looked so depressing that I thought a little sepia would brighten it up.

On a diversion as the road from Laneshaw Bridge was closed (probably due to the rain?) Through Goose Eye - tempted to stop at the Turkey Inn for a little cheer!

I'd just passed some beautiful lupins but by the time I could stop it was just toooo wet to walk back!
