Relentless rain!

The rain has now been falling since 7am yesterday without any let up...the monsoon has been persistently consistent! :-P It was my playground duty day so I took the children out for a good old soaking this morning - oh how we dripped our way back inside!! 

I have to say it has now relented a little and my walk was spared the torrential downpours of the day, just rain instead. The wind is gale force leaving the pavements, roads and footpaths covered in debris of every kind. People are wearing their winter woolies, hats, scarves and gloves...

I keep having to remind myself it is June!!
