Into the frying pan :-))

Once again I used the frying pan as the background for today's blip.  I have come to the conclusion that I need to invest in some proper photography background papers.  Colour version in extras.

Alan went to the wheelchair clinic this afternoon and has returned with a temporary power chair.   A new chair is on order but it will be a few weeks before he comes home with it as there are lots of adaptations to be made to it to customise it for him.  We will need to pop back up to Dundee tomorrow to pick up his manual chair as we couldn't transport two wheelchairs back home.

I didn't go to the wheelchair clinic as I stayed home awaiting two phone calls;  one from a garden landscaper about the side garden that was trashed in the building works and one from the Ileostomy nurse to arrange a home visit.  I am so efficient that I nodded off and slept through one call and was in the loo when the second call came in.  #Sod'sLaw

David spoke to the landscaper when he got back and he's coming out next Tuesday afternoon to have a look at the garden and discuss what we might be able to do with it.  Our plan is for a wheelchair accessible space with raised beds so Alan can plant things if he wants to.

In other news, we received a welcome email this morning advising us that the young woman we'd offered the Team Leader position to, has accepted it.   The logistics still have to be worked out, but hopefully it won't be too long before Ashleigh no.2 will be joining the team :-))
