A Visitor Drops In

As we were preparing for brunch this morning Anders wandered into the house. He was on a long cycle trip along the backroads and forest paths and finding himself near our house decided to drop in for a coffee. it was perfect timing!
As you can see it was a warm day and the sun was shining.  We sat around talking about the university and how nice it is not to be working.
Actually Anders is a teacher of maths and physics so though he's retired from the university he's in such demand that he's still working for other organisations with various high level professional courses (when he's not out cycling!)
One of the real joys of summer is people popping in for a visit, providing an excellent excuse to stop gardening and socialise instead.
