Feisty Canadian
A strange sort of day; as soon as we got up we were preparing ourselves for a trip to the Isle of May (via a lift to Anstruther from bro Jim), but the phone calls and emails started to come through saying that the sailing was cancelled today due to the inclemence. Sam, who'd only arrived from Arizona yesterday, was already on her way in to us from North Berwick. So when she arrived we decided to pick something else to do from her bucket list and went to Craigmillar Castle - it was lovely to walk around it again (see extra). Then we dropped into the Sheep Heid for lunch, and being in Duddingston, thought we'd show Sam the loch. There were a few swans there but lots of geese, and two of the Canada goose couples had goslings (v cute). One set seemed keen to approach Sam, appearing quite feisty, even though she kept telling them how greatly she admired Justin Trudeau.
