You have met Rosina Isabella Burgess before.

Born in 1857 in Sydenham, Kent.  Died 1929 in Norbury, Surrey.

What did she have when she died that was not allowed to her in her early life?   The vote!    Women received the vote on the same terms as men (over the age of 21) as a result of the Representation of the People Act 1928.   Full suffrage was hard fought for and hard won.
