It is Election Day in the UK! In case you missed that little bit of information!! Even more exciting for me is that Mum arrived home from Newark today which made me very happy! We had a 3 hour nap this afternoon and then enjoyed a movie while we ate an early dinner. Finally the rain stopped (almost) and we had a nice walk around the park AND to the lake!

Mum says there is this social media trend to take pictures of dogs (and other pets) at the polling stations, so I could see what was coming! Sure enough, I had to pose for today's blip! Mum didn't ACTUALLY go into the polling station (right by the park where we walked) as she had done her postal vote earlier this week (see extra photo). Even though her trip was scheduled to arrive today, she did her postal vote anyway, just in case there was a delay or cancellation which would have prevented her getting back and voting in person.

With all this social media trend, you'd think WE would be allowed to vote! I would vote for the Animal Welfare Party, (see extra photo) but Mum said they'd never actually win. Sigh. Well, tomorrow morning we will find out if our local MP is still Prime Minister. There's no staying up late for ME!! I'm off to bed!
