One for you...

... dear blippers:-)

The weather forecast was meant to be better today..... hmmmm not great first thing but once again it did improve as the day went on.

We had spoken about going into Bath but I could tell by mums reaction that she didn't fancy it. So quick browse on iPad I found Lacock, a village and abbey owned by the National Trust. Mum and dad are members but we didn't renew ours a couple of years ago...long and short Mr C and I took out membership.
We walked around the village first, another used in filming such as Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, then onto the Abbey where the photography pioneer, Henry Fox Talbot lived. His first 'negative' was of this lattice window. Around the grounds they had set up frames for you to take photos through. We spent a lovely few hours wandering around and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Back for a rest before another lovely dinner at the pub, this time accompanied by a jazz trio. Lovely music and not too loud.

Another grand day out ;-))

Two photos mixed in photoshop ;-)

Extras again ;-))
