Commando Memorial, Spean Bridge.

Not where we meant to be today, so no tigers or snow monkeys.

Set off at sparrow fart to drive to the Highland Wildlife Park, to use our half price tickets before they ran out, but there had been a terrible road accident, so we had to turn back. 
Makes you realise how fragile life is, and I keep thinking about the accident victim who was airlifted out.
So we made the best of the day that was left, and managed to get a few shots between the torrential rain showers, visited a couple of historic monuments, found a fab wee derelict church (couldn't find a way in - you'll be glad to hear Snapper!),had a picnic in the car, and then came home to bottle the elderflower champagne, and eat Turkish Delight Tiffin.
