A Catch o Crabs

Woke up early and it was raining.  It soon cleared and been a lovely warm and sunny day.  It's clouded over this evening.

Woke up early, but since it was raining, I went back to bed.  Finally got going, and headed out with Sammy.  By lunch time, I headed out for a run on the boat with Brian and Julie.  We headed to Oxna for a walk about the isle, and then to Hamnavoe and headed up to Julie's mam, Lorraine, for a cuppa and a yarn.  Back to Scalloway and got my second load of washing out.  Been to collect photos and some stuff from aunt Binnie's, then headed down to mam's to sort through them.  Been helping mam about the house too.  Sister Julie is staying over with her tonight.

As we arrived in Hamnavoe, the harbour was busy with peerie fishing boats.  Tommy Arthur Fullerton was busy working with his haul of crabs.  Julie spoke with him, and managed to get a bag of crab claws for her supper.  Tommy on his boat the Be Ready LK 973 at Hamnavoe pier, Burra.
