I am so.......

........happy with this pic of a female Western Spinebill!! They are so small and so super fast and I have never achieved a sharp image before. (Best in LARGE)

I was inside, packing up to return to Perth after a lovely weekend at "the other house" but I kept getting distracted with the calls of the "little birds" who seem to come through in waves. All will be silent and then a cacophony of tweets, squeaks and whistles. So, of course, the camera loaded with the big gun at the ready.

There were splendid wrens, scarlett robins, fantails and silvereyes. I will add a splendid wren as an extra - they are so pretty.
A very different weekend in my blips, from dolphins to fires to teeny birds.
