Derelict Boat Detail

Our end of the bay has four abandoned boats, two sail and two powered. They have survived wind, waves, and weather the past seven years, but are slow succumbing to the combination of all three over time. I paddled out to photograph each of them this morning to document that destructive process. The light was nicely filtered through some intermittent clouds and I managed to circle each boat to get a variety of angles of the decay. I thought about turning this one into black & white, but liked the dark brown gash and green patina on the porthole. Hopefully they will be around for years to come as they provide a wealth of photos.
