Colors Of The Flag

While not in the correct order (red, white, green) these bins of produce could almost pass for a Mexican flag. The tri-color's meaning has changed over time. Today, the green stands for hope, the white for purity, and the red for blood of the heroes who fought for independence. The current flag was established in 1968, on Independence Day 16 September, and legally confirmed in 1984.
