Monte Falcone

We went to the morning market in nearby Comunanza and had a breakfast coffee and pastry before looking around the old town. Comunanza is in the valley bottom but is surrounded by hilltop towns.

As the tops were fairly clear we ventured up to Monte Falcone. All these towns have medieval streets and churches and astonishing views.

This area is in the Monte Sibillini Mountains national park and can have quite a lot of cloud but we could see down to the sea which was clear and blue, but the clouds were rolling around here as you can see.

We may head to the coast (Adriatic) tomorrow, about 40 minutes away.

Meanwhile we are enjoying Prosecco in a Gelateria in Amandola that has Wi fi - we will come back as we are getting free pizza and sandwiches too!
