Connected! (Sort of!)

No mention of it in the details, but there is an internet connection in our Ayrshire holiday cottage, albeit very slow:)

Arrived safely in gradually deteriorating weather (raining hard now), only to discover that the key was not where it should have been! Had to make a 10 mile round trip before I could get mobile signal (we're in a valley) to contact the owner, who arrived promptly with abject apologies. Not the best of starts:)

However, it's been all good since then. This is a very de luxe "cottage", one of the best we've stayed in (and we've done a few!) Underfloor heating downstairs, everything very high spec and a delightful setting, surrounded by sheep and hills. The blip is of the lounge end of the main room - the other end is the kitchen/diner and it's huge.

To make up for the key fiasco, the owner delivered a nice bottle of wine with more apologies, so we're definitely going to like it here!

Just hope the rain stops tomorrow!
