Carrières de Lumières
These former quarries are near the fortified village of Les Baux-de-Provence. The British writer Alistair MacLean used them as a setting for his book Caravan to Vaccarés. Jean Cocteau also used this location for his film Orpheus.
But now the site has become home to a multimedia show featuring famous painters. At the time being, it is Bosch, Brueghel, and Arcimboldo. Absolutely mesmerizing.
Today's blip shows onlookers that seem to belong to one of the paintings.
