A River Twist

From the Swiss Alps down to the blue Med, the Rhône River forms a delta a few kilometers away north of Arles. The island is the Camargue, a bird sanctuary.
The 'Big' Rhône passes through the old Roman & Medieval city of Arles, where this particular twist of the River it the widest on its way to the sea.
