The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Wednesday 14th June 2017)

I have photographed these salvias for a Diary Blip several times now but always ended blipping something else, until today, when I photographed nothing else. These are more plants that have been dormant in the garden until this year. It was a day at home as it was too warm for anything else.
I have finally caught up, as this is not a back blip, but my victory will be short lived as I will be in the West Midlands tomorrow and not back until late.
Thoughts with North Kensington today.

Note: I'm told this may be a kind of Hedge Nettle (Stachys family) rather than a Salvia. (18.6.17)
Note: This has now been identified as scutellaria lateriflora, commonly known as Skullcap, Mad Dog Weed, Hooded Willow-Herb, Quaker Bonnet and many other names. (9.9.17)

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Cat Power - Who Knows Where The Time Goes (2007)
This song, one of my favourites, was the subject of today's Soul Music on Radio 4. I have featured several of Sandy Denny's versions of her own composition (written when she was 19) and one by Kate Rusby from the TV series Jam And Jerusalem, but here is a rather different interpretation by Chan Marshall (Cat Power).
