A trip to Bernaray

We drove over the causeway to the Isle of Berneray in beautiful sunshine. 

The scenery was beautiful, one of the extras shows a beach of white sand - we were the only people on it.

The other extras are of cows in the machir and a lapwing - it was good to see so mny as they are sadly declining in many areas. 

The main photo is of a very vocal oyster catcher that was perched on a headstone in an old cemetary that we visited.
