Second Chance at Life

It’s rare to come across a piece of work with such a moving story behind it but Wendy Shields has used her skill as a textile artist to explain her personal journey through cancer.
 
Wendy has just graduated as a mature student with First Class Honours from Forth Valley College in Stirling.
“ I had breast cancer eight years ago. I could not have made this work before because I was too close to it.”
